Earth

London's traffic cameras, on a map that doesn't fight you.

The Problem

Camera data is only useful if you can find the camera fast. Earth puts a large, changing network on a map — search, camera detail, live availability, no digging.

The Solution

A live geospatial viewer for browsing London's TfL traffic camera network on an interactive map.

What it does

  • Explore camera locations on an interactive MapLibre map
  • Find cameras by name or location
  • See live and offline availability at a glance
  • Open camera details with coordinates and feeds

What took work

  • Render a large geospatial dataset without overwhelming the map
  • Keep external camera data current when feeds disappear
  • Connect map selection, search, and detail routes into one workflow
